ROTARY’S VALENTINE’S DAY ROSES TO RAISE MONEY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
How would you like to buy someone special a dozen beautiful roses for Valentine’s Day – and contribute to a great cause? You can do both when you order roses from a member of the Bloomington Rotary Club.
Now through Friday, Feb. 3, Bloomington Rotary Club members will accept orders at $50 per dozen, and proceeds will fund four $1,000 scholarships for students graduating from high schools in Monroe County and three $500 awards to be awarded to Ivy Tech students. High school students from Bloomington South, Bloomington North, New Tech, Harmony or Edgewood high schools are eligible.
To order roses by mail, send a check made payable to Bloomington Rotary Foundation” for $50 to: Bloomington Rotary Foundation; P.O. Box 2026; Bloomington, IN 47402. Buyers can pick up their roses in the circle drive in front of the Indiana Memorial Union Monday, Feb. 13 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. – or at the Bloomington Rotary Club luncheon Tuesday, Feb. 14 between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the Indiana Memorial Union’s Frangipani Room. Bloomington Rotary Club will sell 150 dozen.
